The fees for assignment photography are based on two items: production and use. Assignments fees are therefore licensing fees, which include all production costs, and are based primarily on the usage of the image.

The basic production and usage fee is $1,500.00 per day for "in-house" or portfolio usage rights. “In-house” rights are primarily use in proposals, sales sheets, and a single use in a brochure, PR package, or mail campaign. All fees include basic equipment and other overhead costs only. Direct expenses, such as assistants or other labor, film, processing, Polaroid, expendables, travel, scanning, digital manipulations, prints, slides, etc. are billed in addition to the basic fees. If costs are shared with other users, 20% to 25%e per user will be added, though the fee and the expenses generally remain the same except for reproductions needed by the additional users. If, for instance, uses extend to more major advertising and/or publishing then these will have to be dealt with specifically at the time.
